10 Things That Scare Me

We have all been there (me more than I would like to admit): rainy Monday morning coming off what felt like a very short weekend, staring at your email inbox in the face and stressing. What we don’t often realize is that others are going through the same fear and stress cycle that we are going through. What is even more unknown is that often times the ones we look up to are just as fearful of the same things we are.

If you are looking to feel more comfortable in your own skin then 10 Things That Scare Me will be a great, short exercise in centering yourself. It’s known as “a tiny podcast about our biggest fears” and executes on both of those fronts. Each episodes runs between 5 to 7 minutes and features a particular celebrity walking through a list of 10 things that actually scare them! It is insightful and pretty funny at times, all while leaving you feeling that you are not alone in the world. Did you know Paul Feig was scared of rats? Or that Jo Firestone is afraid of being chased at night? Even Anthony Scaramucci has fears (his was great)!

The brevity and honesty of each episode makes for a fascinating listen. Each host will walk you through their list of 10 fears, some will elaborate more than others, but each host refuses to hold back and will make you feel a closeness that is often difficult to create in the podcast universe. Give it a listen, it will only take you 5 minutes!

10 Things That Scare Me is a tiny podcast about our biggest fears. In each episode, one person talks. Alone in a room. It could be anyone. It could be you. It’s someone driven by fears that keep them up at night, that define their lives, and inform their choices. This is a podcast about them, about you, about us, and the world we inhabit together. New episodes every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
