The Generation Why

Since it’s launch in 2012 The Generation Why Podcast has grown it’s dedicated audience vastly, and there are many reasons why. By the time Serial was launched in 2014 the podcast world was already familiar with the true crime genre, a large part due to hosts Aaron and Justin. They have a wonderful chemistry and a serious knowledge base of true crime between them.

The consistency that Aaron and Justin deliver on a weekly basis is the reason why this podcast has such a dedicated following. Currently, there are over 300 episodes available to listeners on all podcast platforms. Often times shows tend to have trouble balancing the volume of content and quality of that content. This is where TGW succeeds almost better than any show in the landscape. Aaron and Justin cover a variety of topics and seem to have a very democratic policy on the type of stories they discuss.

This podcast offers a vast catalogue spanning cases you have never heard about all the way to Kurt Cobain. The host’s chemistry makes four an entertaining combination banter, side conversations, and great discussion. There is no shortage of research and background history on each episode. The Generation Why will leave you feeling educated on the topic covered and Aaron and Justin will make you feel a part of the conversation.

Often described as a podcast that broke barriers for true crime podcasting, it’s easy to see WHY given the substantial following this show has on social media platforms.
